Put money toward a goal.
You moved $200 to savings, or decided part of a balance belongs to the vacation now. Recording it takes under a minute — and it's what keeps the progress bar and the pace math telling the truth.
Open the goal
On the Goals tab, tap the goal's card. The detail view opens with the progress bar, what's saved so far, and — when the goal has a target date — the pace line: what per month keeps you on track, and whether you currently are.
Tap Add to goal and enter the amount
Tap Add to goal and enter the amount. Below it, Spense asks from which account? — that part is optional, but worth the extra tap: naming the account tells Spense where the money lives, so it can warn you if a goal ever claims more of an account than the account holds. Credit cards and loans aren't offered — money you owe isn't money you can set aside.
Tap Add it
Tap Add it. The entry appears in the goal's history with its date and source account, and the progress bar and pace update on the spot. Took money back out in real life? Reduce is right next to Add and works the same way in reverse — it just can't take a goal below zero.
Wondering how much to put in each month? If the goal has a date, the pace line already answers it. For picking the amounts across several funds at once, our sinking funds walkthrough does the dividing.
